The Girl in the Mirror

Just see her

Who?

The girl in the mirror.

But that’s me.

No. That’s the real you.

What are you talking about?

What’s good about you?

No-nothing. Nothing is good about me.

You are wrong.

How?

Just smile a little.

Like this?

Yes. Now think about the things you love to do.

Then?

Think about the faces you brought a smile to.

But they were only a few.

But there were. That’s what matters.

Oh-okay. Now what?

Look back into the mirror.

She is beautiful.

She is the real you.

But how? I have so many scars and bruises.

How many scars and bruises have you given to others?

None.

Then what’s wrong about you except this physical scars that show how strong you are?

No-nothing. Nothing is wrong about me.

See. I told you. It’s the real you. You are beautiful, internally.

Thank you.
